The Interact Club is a community service club that meets biweekly, every other Wednesday in room 228 at 2:30 p.m. The club participates in or helps out at events such as Relay for Life, Stop Hunger Now and the Special Olympics. For more information, see LHS teacher Daniel Carella.
The LHS Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps had their annual inspection February 15. First sergeant Dean Kelly prepared the students to be ready for this inspection. Don’t miss the blood drive sponsored by the JROTC February 10. Permission forms must be signed before the day of the drive. The LHS JROTC will have their annual Army inspection February 14. Last year, the battalion received a gold rating, and they look forward to performing well again.

The LHS American Teen Cancer Society will be selling Kettle Corn the week of Nov 28. Orders can be placed with Mrs. McHugh for delivery Friday, Dec. 2. The cost is $4 per bag of original, $5 for caramel. Candy Cane Grams will be sold during lunches the week of Dec. 5 with delivery Dec.
Those participating in the planning for Project Graduation will meet Thursday, November 17, in the LHS Media Center at 6:30 p.m.
Senior parent volunteers are needed!
