The Lecanto High School Lady Panthers girls’ tennis team battled it out against the Forest High School Wildcats. Sophomore Megan Jervis felt the team did a good job during their individual games. “I think went really well; we all tried our hardest, and it was a really hard team to play,” Jervis said.
District run ends with a 4th place finish for tennis teams
The LHS boys’ and girls’ tennis teams suffered a quick end to their seasons in the district competition, resulting in 4th place finishes for the year. The teams finished the regular season with seven wins and four losses for the girls and nine wins and four losses for boys. Both teams had a very strong start to the season
